  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mixing

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a larger bowl, beat together butter, cream cheese, and sugar until smooth.
  • Mix in the vanilla extract and egg yolk until fully combined.
  • Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.

Forming Cookies

  • Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on a lined baking sheet.
  • Use your thumb or a spoon to press down the center of each ball to create an indentation.
  • Fill each indentation with your chosen jam or icing.

Baking
