Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients to ensure a smooth cooking process.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Meatball Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, parsley, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and milk. Mix gently until just incorporated.
  • Shape the mixture into 12 equal meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes until cooked through.

Cranberry Sauce

  • While the meatballs are baking, combine cranberries, orange juice, sugar, orange zest, and salt in a small saucepan.
  • Simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens, about 8 to 10 minutes.

Assembly

  • Slice the slider buns horizontally.
  • In a baking dish, place the bottoms of the slider buns and set one meatball on each bun.
  • Spoon over warm cranberry sauce and add half a slice of cheese atop each meatball.
  • Cover with the bun tops, brush melted butter over the buns, and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  • Bake the assembled sliders for an additional 5 to 7 minutes until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden.

Serving

  • Serve warm, garnished with extra parsley if desired.

Notes
