Preparation

  • Wash and slice the apples and oranges into bite-sized pieces.
  • Rinse fresh cranberries for garnish.

Mixing the Base

  • In a large pitcher, combine the red wine and cranberry juice. Stir gently to mix.

Add Fruits

  • Add the apple and orange slices to the pitcher, stirring to evenly distribute.

Optional Brandy

  • Pour in the brandy for added flavor, if desired.

Chill

  • Refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.

Serving

  • Take the sangria out of the fridge, prepare ice and glasses.
  • Just before serving, pour in the club soda and give it a light stir.
  • Fill each glass with ice and pour the sangria over, ensuring each gets fruit.
  • Garnish with fresh cranberries and enjoy!
