  • 1 cup fresh cranberries Washed and dried
  • 1 piece jalapeno Seeded and chopped
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese Softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

  • Wash the cranberries and pat them dry. Remove the stems and any blemished berries.
  • Seed and finely chop the jalapeno, taking care to wash your hands afterward.

Cooking

  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine the prepared cranberries and jalapeno. Stir to mix evenly.
  • In another bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Gently fold the cranberry and jalapeno mixture into the creamy mixture, ensuring even distribution.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in an 8-inch baking dish and smooth the top.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Serving

  • Serve warm with an array of crackers, tortilla chips, or fresh veggies.

Notes

This dip can be easily customized to suit your tastes by adjusting the spice level or adding herbs. Best served fresh but can be stored for up to three days in an airtight container.
