  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce Substitute with coconut aminos for soy-free.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients. Drain the canned green beans and set them aside.
  • Cook the bacon until it's crispy, then crumble it and place it on a paper towel to absorb excess grease.

Cooking the Base

  • In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined.

Preheating Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Assembling the Dish

  • In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, place the drained green beans. Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the top and toss gently.
  • Sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top.

Baking

  • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until the sauce is bubbly and slightly thickened.

Serving

  • Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Can be frozen for longer storage. Reheat in intervals to maintain texture.
