Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients. Ensure the crab meat and shrimp are cooked and chopped into small pieces.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, shrimp, queso cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until consistent.
  • Warm tortillas slightly in the microwave to make them pliable.

Filling and Rolling

  • Lay each tortilla flat and place a small amount of the filling mixture at one end.
  • Tightly roll each tortilla around the filling, securing the end with the seam facing down.

Baking

  • Brush the outside of each rolled taquito with olive oil.
  • Place taquitos on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced apart.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Serving

  • Allow the taquitos to cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes
