Ingrédients
  

For the Tortellini

  • 8 oz tortellini (any preferred type)

For the Steak

  • 1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin suggested) Can swap for chicken or shrimp
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Sauce

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Can replace with coconut oil for dairy-free
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

For Garnishing

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients. Bring the steak to room temperature.
  • Mince the garlic and chop the fresh parsley and chives.

Cooking

  • Boil salted water and cook tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Season the steak with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Heat skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 5-7 minutes on each side. Let it rest on a cutting board after cooking.
  • In the same skillet, reduce heat, add butter and garlic, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet with garlic butter and toss well.
  • Slice the steak against the grain.
  • To serve, plate the tortellini and lay the sliced steak on top.
  • Garnish with parsley and chives.

Notes

For a twist, add red pepper flakes for spice or a splash of lemon juice for brightness. Store leftovers properly in an airtight container.
