Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients to ensure a smooth preparation process.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat for about 2-3 minutes, stirring regularly to prevent burning.
  • Once melted, add the peanut butter and mix until smooth.
  • Add chocolate chips to the melted mixture and stir gently until fully melted, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract until evenly incorporated.
  • In a large bowl, pour the cornflakes and immediately drizzle the warm chocolate-peanut butter mixture over them. Fold until all cornflakes are coated.
  • Spread the coated mixture onto a lined baking sheet, pressing down gently for an even layer.
  • Sprinkle powdered sugar over the top and let sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to set.

Notes
