Ingrédients
  

Doughnut Base

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup milk Almond or oat milk can be used.
  • 2 large eggs Flaxseed mixture can be used as a substitute.
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted Coconut oil can be used as a dairy-free option.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Coating

  • ½ cup granulated sugar Coconut sugar can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients together on your countertop.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  • In another medium bowl, whisk milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  • Preheat your doughnut maker or oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease the molds.

Cooking

  • Fill each doughnut mold about halfway with the batter.
  • Cook the doughnuts for about 4-5 minutes or bake for around 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  • While the doughnuts are baking, mix ½ cup of granulated sugar with 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon.
  • Once the doughnuts have cooled slightly, roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat evenly.
