Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and measure out the melted butter, sugar, and spices.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cooking

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and optional nutmeg until evenly blended.
  • Brush both sides of each tortilla with melted butter.
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture generously over both sides of each tortilla.
  • Slice the coated tortillas into triangles, strips, or other shapes as desired.
  • Arrange the tortilla pieces in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
  • Rotate the pan halfway through for even cooking.
