  • 8 oz Dark chocolate or milk chocolate Choose your preferred type.
  • 4 oz White chocolate (optional, for drizzling) Melt separately for drizzling.

Preparation

  • Wash the strawberries thoroughly under cool running water. Pat them dry with a paper towel and ensure they are completely dry.

Melting Chocolate

  • Break the dark or milk chocolate into smaller pieces and melt in a microwave-safe bowl, microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.

Dipping the Strawberries

  • Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated.

Cooling

  • Place the dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet and allow excess chocolate to drip off.
  • If using white chocolate, melt it separately and drizzle over the dipped strawberries for decoration.
  • Let the strawberries cool at room temperature or place them in the fridge for quicker setting.

Serving

  • Once the chocolate has hardened, arrange the strawberries on a platter for serving.

Clean-Up

  • Clean any chocolate remnants from your work area immediately to prevent hardening.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. Consider freezing for longer storage.
