  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Ensure it's well drained
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded Can substitute with dairy-free cheese if desired
  • 1 large egg Acts as a binding agent
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Adds flavor
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning Can adjust to taste

For the assembly

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce Choose your favorite sauce
  • 1 cup toppings of choice (pepperoni, vegetables, etc.) Customize to your liking

Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients in one place. Pre-cook the chicken and shred it using a fork or a food processor.
  • In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese, egg, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well incorporated and sticky.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

Baking the Crust

  • Transfer the chicken mixture onto the baking sheet and press it out evenly to form a crust shape, about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown.

Finishing Touches

  • Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the baked crust.
  • Add your choice of toppings and return the pizza to the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving hot.

Notes

Store leftover pizza in the fridge for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze wrapped tightly in aluminum foil for up to 2 months.
