  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg, whisked
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

For the Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1-2 tablespoons sriracha sauce Adjust based on spice preference
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

For Assembling

  • Slider rolls
  • Fresh lettuce leaves
  • Pickle slices
  • Additional desired toppings (like avocado or tomato slices)

Preparation

  • Start by cutting the chicken breasts or tenders into slider-sized pieces and season them with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Coating the Chicken

  • Dredge each piece of chicken in the all-purpose flour, shaking off any excess.
  • Dip each floured chicken piece into the whisked egg.
  • Coat each piece thoroughly with panko breadcrumbs.

Cooking the Chicken

  • Heat a layer of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Fry the breaded chicken pieces in batches for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until deeply golden brown and cooked through.
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken and transfer it to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

Making the Sauce

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and rice vinegar.

Assembly

  • Take the slider rolls and assemble the sliders starting with lettuce, followed by a fried chicken piece, and drizzle generously with the Bang Bang sauce.
  • Finish off with a pickle slice and the top half of the slider bun.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate chicken in a mix of garlic powder, onion powder, and buttermilk before frying. Keep sliders assembled just before serving to ensure crispiness.
