  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk Use coconut milk for a dairy-free option.

Add-ins

  • 1/2 cup chopped cherries Fresh or frozen cherries work well.
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts Omit or replace with crispy rice for nut-free version.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients for a smooth cooking process.
  • Chop the cherries and walnuts ahead of time.
  • Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.

Cooking

  • In a saucepan, combine the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk over low heat.
  • Stir continuously until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the chopped cherries, walnuts, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.

Chilling & Serving

  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until firm.
  • Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment overhang and cut into squares.
  • Serve fresh or store for later indulgence.

Notes
