Taco Cups

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 24 wonton wrappers or small tortilla squares
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese or Mexican-blend cheese

  • chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray a 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat, add taco seasoning, and stir according to package instructions until well coated.
  • Press a wonton wrapper or tortilla square into each muffin cup to form a shell.
  • Place about 1–2 tablespoons of seasoned beef into each shell and sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden and crisp.
  • Let cool slightly, then remove the taco cups from the tin. Top with sour cream, diced tomatoes, green onions, and salsa or guacamole as desired.
