  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions Adds freshness and flavor.

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Preparation

  • Start by gathering all the ingredients and measuring them out.
  • In a skillet, add the breakfast sausage and cook over medium heat until browned, about 8–10 minutes.
  • Transfer cooked sausage to a mixing bowl and add stuffing mix, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped green onions.
  • Pour chicken broth into the mixture to bind ingredients together.
  • Sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper, then mix well to combine.
  • Roll the mixture into balls about one inch in diameter and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Baking

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Check internal temperature to reach at least 165°F (74°C) before removing from oven.
  • Allow to cool for about 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Can be frozen for up to three months.
