Preparation

  • Gather and chop all ingredients: chop the cabbage, dice the onion, and mince the garlic.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  • Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart for even cooking (about 5 to 7 minutes).
  • Stir in the cabbage and cook for about 5 minutes until it begins to wilt.
  • Add the diced tomatoes, paprika, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  • Cover and let simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed before serving.

Serving

  • Serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh herbs like parsley.

Notes

This dish can be customized with various spices and herbs. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days, or freeze for 2-3 months.
