Main Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 wheel Brie cheese
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 each egg for egg wash
  • to taste fresh rosemary or thyme optional for garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients on a clean countertop and preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out the sheet of puff pastry until it’s about 1/8th inch thick.

Assembly

  • Place the wheel of Brie in the center of the rolled-out pastry.
  • Spoon 1/2 cup of cranberry sauce generously over the Brie.
  • Carefully cut the pastry into strips around the Brie, leaving about 2 inches of space.
  • Begin folding the strips over the cheese and cranberries, overlapping as you create the classic wreath shape.
  • In a small bowl, beat one egg to prepare the egg wash.
  • Using a pastry brush, generously apply the egg wash over the folded pastry strips.

Baking

  • Place the prepared wreath in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and flaky.
  • Once baked, remove the wreath from the oven and allow it to cool slightly.
  • Garnish with fresh rosemary or thyme before serving.

Notes

Serve with crackers, baguette slices, or fresh fruits. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven for best results.
