Roll Ingredients

  • 2 cups Bisquick mix
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk Can substitute with almond or oat milk for dairy-free options.
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted Can substitute with coconut oil for dairy-free options.
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Can substitute with white sugar mixed with a bit of molasses.

Icing Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk (for icing)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather and measure all your ingredients. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Bisquick mix and sugar. Gradually stir in the milk and melted butter until a soft dough forms.
  • On a floured surface, turn out the dough, knead it a few times, and roll it into a rectangular shape, about 1/4 inch thick.

Assembly

  • Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar evenly over the rolled-out dough.
  • Starting from one end, roll the dough tightly into a log shape and slice into 1-inch pieces.
  • Place the sliced rolls in the greased baking dish, leaving space between each roll.

Baking

  • Bake the cinnamon rolls for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  • While the rolls bake, mix powdered sugar with milk to prepare the icing.
  • Once baked, let the rolls cool for a few minutes and then drizzle the icing over them.

Notes
