Sauces and Oils

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce Use tamari for a gluten-free option.
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil Can use low-fat cooking spray.

Aromatics

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and chop your vegetables.
  • Thinly slice the beef against the grain for maximum tenderness and mince the garlic and ginger.

Cooking Noodles

  • Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse in cold water to stop the cooking process.

Heat the Pan

  • Place a large skillet or wok on medium heat, then add the vegetable oil. Allow the oil to heat for about a minute.

Sauté Aromatics

  • Add the minced garlic and ginger to the hot oil and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Cook the Beef

  • Add the sliced beef to the pan, spreading it out in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until browned, flipping halfway through.

Add Vegetables

  • Toss in the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.

Combine and Serve

  • Add the cooked egg noodles along with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil to the pan. Toss gently to combine and heat for a further 2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, transfer to serving bowls, and garnish with additional sesame oil or sliced green onions as desired.

Notes
