  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Preparation

  • Start by slicing the beef sirloin into thin strips for even marination.
  • Wash and chop the broccoli florets into bite-sized pieces.

Make the Marinade

  • In a bowl, combine soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, and cornstarch. Whisk until smooth.

Marinate the Beef

  • Add thinly sliced beef to the marinade, mixing well to coat all pieces. Let it sit for 15 minutes.

Preheat the Oven

  • Set the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Sheet Pan

  • Spread broccoli florets evenly on a large sheet pan in a single layer.

Add Marinated Beef

  • Add marinated beef over the broccoli along with all of the marinade.

Season

  • Sprinkle salt and pepper over the mix.

Bake

  • Bake in the oven for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through for even cooking.

Check for Doneness

  • Ensure the beef is cooked through and the broccoli is bright green and crisp.

Serve

  • Let it cool slightly before serving hot.

Notes
