  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cups cooked rice preferably jasmine or basmati
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sriracha sauce adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup green onions chopped, for garnish
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped, for garnish
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil for cooking turkey
  • lime wedges for serving

Instructions
 

  • Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside. Use jasmine or basmati rice for best texture.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add oil and ground turkey. Break it apart with a spatula and cook for 5–7 minutes, until browned and no longer pink.
  • In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, and lime juice to create the bang bang sauce. Adjust sriracha for desired spice level.
  • Remove the cooked turkey from heat and stir in the sauce mixture until the meat is fully coated. Let rest for 2–3 minutes to absorb flavors.
  • Divide the rice into bowls, spoon the sauced turkey mixture on top, and garnish with chopped green onions and cilantro.
  • Serve immediately with lime wedges and extra sriracha if desired.

Notes

Make it vegetarian by swapping turkey for tofu or chickpeas. Add extra crunch with diced bell peppers or cucumber. For a low-carb option, use cauliflower rice.
