Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients. Prepare your dough station with all seasonings and coatings neatly arranged.
  • Wrap each mozzarella stick tightly in a slice of deli ham.
  • Set up your breading station with one bowl containing beaten eggs and another with breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.

Breading

  • Dip the ham-wrapped mozzarella stick into the beaten eggs, ensuring it is fully coated.
  • Roll it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere. Repeat for double coating if desired.
  • Place the breaded sticks on a tray and freeze for 30 minutes.

Baking

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the sticks in a single layer.
  • Lightly spray the sticks with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool for a minute before serving.

Notes
