Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients together for a smoother cooking process.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, dill, lemon zest, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Place the cod fillets on a lined or lightly greased baking sheet.
  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fillets.
  • Spread the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the cod fillets.

Cooking

  • Bake the cod in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the cod in lemon juice and herbs for 30 minutes before baking. To make the crust crunchier, broil the fish for a couple of minutes after baking.
