Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients. Rinse the salmon fillets and pat them dry with a paper towel. Slice the avocado and lime before beginning to ensure everything is ready.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, combine the olive oil and Cajun seasoning. Mix well to form a paste that will coat the salmon evenly.
  • Place the salmon fillets in the bowl with the Cajun mixture. Ensure each fillet is well coated.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Lay the seasoned salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced evenly.

Cooking

  • Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes.
  • While the salmon bakes, slice the avocado and squeeze lime juice over the slices.
