  • Cut your bacon slices in half.

  • Place the wrapped chestnuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Sauce Preparation

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce and brown sugar until well combined.
  • Brush the mixture liberally over each bacon-wrapped water chestnut.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the bacon is crispy and golden brown.
  • Flip the water chestnuts halfway through for even crispiness.

Notes
